Wait continues longer than June and July for iPhone 5

The next-generation iPhone by Apple won't be released later-than-normal date. This information has been released by an unnamed AT&T customer service representative. The representative was telling MacRumors that Apple iPhone5 will not be released either in June or July.

"Apple has informed us that they do not plan to release the iPhone in the June to July time frame, though there will be a newer version in the future," said the agent. "Unfortunately, we have not been given a release time for the new phone. We will release this information on our website when it is available to us."

MacRumor Eric Slivka has pointed out that Apple is tight-lipped about the release issue and customer service department has little to no idea when the new iPhone will be launched.

Debut Time
Apple has been making a debuting with all its new iPhone during the annual Worldwide Developer Conference which happens either in the month of June or July. This time this trend will be broken. As it seems Apple have different plans. Latest Apple's iPhone will be released in the month of September as the company has planned the launch of new iPod line too.

What to expect?
The feature of iPhone is expected to have upgraded 8-megapixel camera, dual-mode chip for both CDMA and GSM connect-ability and have speed-injected A5 processor which supports iPad2. The design will more compact that iPhone'4 design. The new iPhone may have slim down its size significantly and have wall-to-wall screen also.

Reason For Delay
The reason for the delay is ‘iPhone 4S' as app developers have been spending a lot of time on improving its technology. Apple 10 months back only had launched the black counterpart. Within sometime Apple also launched the white iPhone 4 on the Apple store.

"However, with the release of the HPalm Veer 4G, HTC Inspire 4G and  Motorola Atrix 4G, AT&T has extended the '4G' down to speeds of  14.4 Mbps, the same speed as those Qualcomm chips that Apple loves."

I don't know about you, but this news clearly shows the true colors of both AT&T and Verizon. While Verizon is working with Apple to deliver over-the-air updates, AT&T is staying busy manipulating their customers with their "marketing strategies".

The race is definitely on to support 4G LTE for the iPhone 5 whenever it releases since Android devices are racing to have this feature as well. Lastly, it's been suggested that iPhone's will NOT support LTE until iPhone 6. What do you think?
