Google Music Store For Android: Features, Tips & Tricks

By Chris Elliott

Google Inc. has officially announced the new and much-anticipated online music-download store at its Android event in Los Angeles Wednesday afternoon after over a year of negotiations with multiple record labels. The new Google music store features more than 13 million songs from three major music companies, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and EMI as well as Merlin. Especially, the Artist Hub allows artists to directly upload original tracks to the store and set their own prices. Google is expected to sell out $1 apiece and movies for around $1.99. Most importantly, Google hopes to quickly capture market share from Apple Inc.’s iTunes, Amazon, and other digital music services.
