Slow Running Computer - How To Fix this quickly and easily yourself

If you find windows running slow you can speed it up by following these steps here for a faster computer. These simple steps will fix your slow running computer in minutes instead of having to pay someone to fix it for you.

#1 Defragment your hard drive.

a) Click the start button on the windows start menu in windows.

b) Click on all Programs then accessories then system tools and go to disk defragmenter.

c) Start the process and defragment your hard drive to help it run faster.

#2 Remove programs you do not need.

a) Click the Start button on the windows taskbar.
b) Go to the windows control panel.
c). Go to programs  and then go to uninstall a program or add and remove programs, depending on which version of windows you are using.
d). Select a program and click on the uninstall button to remove it from your computer.
e)  Repeat the process for other programs you do not need and get rid of them quickly.

#3 Clean out all the temporary files:

a) Click on the windows start button the taskbar.
b) Click on all programs then accessories then system tools and go to disk clean Up.
c) Follow the instructions to delete all the temporary files and clean up your computer.

#4 Clean out the browser cache and temporary files.

a) Start internet explorer.
b) Press the CTRL- SHIFT- DELkeys together.
c:) leave the deafult items in the tick boxes and select delete.

#5 Check for system and registry corruption on your hard drive.

a) Download a system and registry scanner utility
b) Install it and run a full system scan on your computer right away.
c) when you have done this allow it to optimzer your computer and defragment your registry. The windows defragmenter cannot do this.

This will also scan your computer for malware and registry errors which you cannot fix manually. Once you have done this restart your computer and check its performance to see if it is running faster. By following these steps here you will be able to fix your slow running computer and save money too.
