A new feature included in the Flip SlideHD Camcorder 2010 which is missing from previous Flips, the MinoHD Camcorder and FlipUltraHD Camcorder, is a headphone socket so you can listen to your movies without annoying the people around you. Stereo speakers allow you to share the sound when needed. 
Video storage is a huge 16GB, allowing you to store up to 12 hours of compressed video, equivelant to about 5 full length movies, or record up to 4 hours of HD video depending on resolution.
This makes the Flip SlideHD camcorder 2010 an ideal machine to commute with.
FlipShare software is preloaded which makes it easy to create, organize and share video. Just drag and drop into folders you create, or use the auto date stamp.
If you would like to create photographs from your video, just use the snapshot feature to make a snap of any of the 30 frames from each second of your video.
Allow the software to create the movie for you with Magic Movie, then upload directly to the social networks using the built-in USB arm, or connect to a TV using the HDMI outlet socket.
You can of course choose to keep full control of your editing by using any edit program you
already have on your computer.
The Flip SlideHD Camcorder 2010 is hopefully the first of many similar pocket cams to use this design.
